We had such a great time last week with HAVEN HdG and Port Deposit Paranormal Society at the Dining with the Dead event. They had a very active night, lots of laughs were had, and we were surprised to hear about our lovely steward, Pepper, that watches over the Lock House. The event was greatly coordinated and I highly encourage you to check out their other upcoming events. They were such a fun group! Thank you for discovering new (and old) stories at the Lock House Museum! Below are some images from their event and the link goes to a video of their FLIR.

When talking with a friend yesterday, they mentioned that many people oftentimes overlook the role that the City plays in making all of the events around town successful. Reflecting on it, they're right. In the hustle and bustle of planning and implementation of our events, we oftentimes forget to thank the City employees. From helping navigate the permitting stages to planning traffic staging, to the added security through police presense, or dropping off and picking up the garbage bins, groundskeeping and everyone's efforts in-between, the City has been amazing! Thank you for supporting the local businesses and non-profits of this great city. Your efforts do not go unseen! A HUGE thank you from the Board of Directors from the Lock House Museum. Recently we hosted the Beer and Wine Festival and want you know that your time and efforts are appreciated beyond measure!
