Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery at UD The Beatrice M. Haggerty Art Gallery at the University of Dallas is located in the Art History Building in the Art Village.

Haggerty Gallery, a contemporary art space at the University of Dallas, provides a rich cultural environment for students, faculty and the larger community to engage with a wide range of visual art. The gallery, found in the Art History Building, amongst picturesque wooded setting in the Haggerty Arts Village hosts original exhibitions that offer visitors opportunity of enrichment, discovery, and

delight. Haggerty Gallery advances the study of the fine arts and provides crucial links between communities of academics, artists, and students, and the wider community; fostering an environment where culture thrives. Founded in 2000, the gallery takes its name from one of its greatest supporters Beatrice Haggerty, who had a great love of art and nature.

The staff of Haggar Cafe are what make it special. In addition, though, when students return in 2025 to get a burger or sandwich, they’ll find a new dining area in the space previously occupied by the bookstore, with more seating and access to the upper-level patio above the Rat.

And the fireplace stays, of course.
