Next week is our last Lunch & Learn until the fall!! We are going out with a chisel with guest speaker Kat Warwick of The Art Life Way!

An accomplished sculptor, Kat grew up in Garland and received her BFA in Denton. She is a well-rounded professional artist, currently working in the discipline of sculpture as well as teaching stone carving and managing the stone sculpture department at the Creative Arts Center of Dallas.

Several of her sculpted works are located in and around Fair Park, and one of her pieces, Spirit of Truth, can also be found in our sculpture garden. Composed of stone, steel and river rock, it was installed in 2022 by the Dupree Theater entrance.

Kat has joined the Arts Center for events like Downtown Main Street. Leading attendees in a live sculpture demonstration and giving them a chance to chisel a piece themselves!

Lunch & Learn is FREE So Bring a Snack & Come Learn With Us: Tuesday, May 5th, from 12-1:30pm
