We’re thrilled to unveil this new collection of paintings by Anna Kincaide! Here’s a little studio moment before they arrived at Blue Gallery.

“I dove into the idea of creating portraits of stylized women disguised by avant garde, floral inspired headpieces. The paintings allow me to convey color, texture, design and abstraction with a freedom I have never known until now. I enjoy exploring the intrigue and mystery these works create.”

Garcia’s work is rooted in an intuitive, exploratory process that began with collecting discarded materials and has evolved into a richly layered painting and print-driven practice. His “open narratives” invite viewers into a space of recognition, memory, and personal interpretation, where each composition unfolds through instinct, experimentation, and discovery.
