🚨 LAST-MINUTE ART BATTLE UPDATE 🚨

Unfortunately, Casey Ryan Hall is under the weather and won’t be able to battle tonight — but the show goes on.

Huge shoutout to Mar Carroll, who stepped up on short notice and is jumping into the arena alongside Eddie Engram for tonight’s Notta Art Battle: Team Diptych Edition.

Three teams.
Two canvases per team.
One prompt: BEFORE & AFTER.

CALL FOR ART EXTENDED — SEPTEMBER 14

The response to the inaugural Florida Art Masters Portrait Competition has been incredible.

With so much interest from artists across the state, we’ve decided to extend the submission deadline to September 14 — giving every interested artist a little more time to enter.

Our goal is simple: find the best portrait artist in Florida.

Painters and sculptors. Traditional and contemporary. We want to see Florida’s strongest portrait artists step forward and compete.

IMPORTANT DATES

Applications Close — September 14

Live Competition Dates —
October 10
November 7
November 14
November 21

Grand Finale — December 10

Four live preliminary competitions.
Four finalists.
One Grand Finale.
One $5,000 portrait commission.

And this year, Florida Art Masters will be about more than competition.

We’re proud to be partnering with the Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida (BCFCF) to introduce some very special portrait sitters — and to share the stories of the people behind the portraits throughout the competition.

This time, our previous Art Battle combatants are teaming up. Each team gets two canvases and one prompt: BEFORE + AFTER. Together, they’ll create a connected diptych live in front of the crowd.

Sometimes Paint Your Pet has 10 students. Sometimes it has 2.

Either way, we always have a great time—and everyone leaves with a memorable painting of an animal they love. 🐶🐱🎨

Last night was no exception. Good people, good laughs, a little paint chaos, and some very lovable pets brought to life on canvas.

Big thank you to DJ and Yusuf for joining us and making it such a fun night.

No experience? Perfect.
We’ll prepare your canvas ahead of time using the photo you send us, so you can skip the stressful part and jump right into painting. Along the way, you’ll learn acrylic painting techniques, color mixing, fur textures, expressive eyes, and the little details that bring a pet’s personality to life.
