Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society, Inc. Our Society, has the largest HO scale, three rail O gauge & N scale model railroads open to the public in Morgantown, North Central West Virginia!

Come see us on a Thursday evening at Mountaineer Mall! Members of the Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society are interested in creating a model railroad which will show how the real railroads helped to spur economic development in the State of West Virginia and the Monongahela River Valley. Many of our members are dual scale modelers. While our society is primarily HO scale, we welcome all scales from Z to O and even G.

We currently have two train sets celebrating the 250th birthday of the U.S. on display on the O gauge layout. One is a Lionel limited edition set of passenger cars pulled by a U36B. The other is custom made Marx freight st pulled by an Alco S2 switcher. Enjoy!
