This book is not only beautifully illustrated, it is profoundly moving. Shout out to adults who share it with children of all ages.

We ended our day with a read aloud of THE OTHER SIDE. It is pretty wild to see what happens when you get out of the way, and let the kids talk about what is on their minds/hearts, when we read big-beautiful-books. My heart felt all the things. So blessed to be able to spend my days with brilliant ten and eleven year olds.
