We would like to announce the 2027 Inductees into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame. Congratulations Greg Anderson, Bandimere Family, Alan & Blaine Johnson, Herb McCandless, Mike Thermos, Founders Award Recipient Gil Kirk, and Pat Garlits Memorial Award Recipient Ercie Hill. The 2027 ceremony will be held on Thursday March 11, 2027 at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center.

We are starting to get the items for the 2026 Mopars with Big Daddy fundraiser benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This first item is a homemade lamp from Mike’s Metal Creations. With the pinstripe done by Luke Scanlan Artistry. The lamp will be autographed by Don. It will be part of the silent auction.

Last week Bill pink the son of the late, engine builder and International Drag Racing Hall of Fame member, Ed Pink visited the museum and spent some time with Don. Despite all the time Bill spent around the sport as a kid he told Don he never got to sit in a dragster. Don made that happen and placed Bill in Swamp Rat 1.
