There’s something magical about watching a ship set sail… ⚓✨

This painting, The Fairfax Leaving Alexandria, now our fourth John Stobart work on display at CIMM, captures that exact moment of departure, sails full, light shimmering on the water and the energy of a bustling waterfront frozen in time.

Stobart has an incredible way of making you feel like you’re standing right there on the dock, watching history unfold. The detail, the atmosphere, the glow of the sky. It’s the kind of piece we look at for hours and still discover something new.

Come see it in person and let yourself be transported. 🌊🎨
