Ana Bass’s journey began within the vibrant pulse of the Los Angeles art scene from the periphery, where she absorbed its energy as an observer and supporter. It was in leaving that landscape behind, that her own vision begin to emerge. Liberated from outside influence and the echo of others, she moves confidently in the light of her own artistic identity. Radiating clarity and self-discovery, Ana uses a combination of acrylic and oil paints, cold wax and collage to create bold, abstract and figurative paintings.

Kenyon Banks enjoys the experiential process of creating Raku style pottery. A traditional Raku pottery firing process involves subjecting the vessel to intense stages of heat, fire, and rapid cooling. This sequence infuses carbon into the ceramic body and glaze, resulting in distinctive patterns and colors. The outcome is unpredictable, yielding dramatic, one-of-a-kind effects.

Inspired by natures beauty, Phil Wright occasionally begins his paintings en plein air, adding final touches later, while in his studio. His use of rich, natural tones, capture the true essence and light of his subjects. Central Coast rolling hills, vineyards and coastal areas are common subjects, often bathed in gentle light. Phil's careful observation of nature lends a timeless and sophisticated quality to his elegant, landscape paintings.

Camelia Wogu creates echo prints using natural fibers and non-toxic dyes extracted from plants, which are transferred onto materials such as silk, linen, bamboo, or felted wool. The process is labor-intensive, yet rewarding. Preparing the plant material takes several days. Arranging it on the chosen fabric is a unique artistic process, ensuring that no two scarves are alike. The result is an imprint of leaves, flowers, and colors that only Mother Nature can create.

Mary Velasquez is an award-winning artist who paints with watercolor and designs Navajo style jewelry. Mary fell in love with the Native American designs and beadwork after living in Flagstaff, Arizona area for about 5 years. She and her husband, Alan Bailey, have worked together to create cabochons and other pieces with a southwest flare for over 30 years. Ghost beads are sometimes purposefully weaved into the design, out of place. Each bead is thought to possess a soul and ghost beads provide protection against evil for the wearer. Mary has been awarded Signature status with the Central Coast Watercolor Society.
