MEET THE NEW OWNERS

As announced earlier this week, Exhibit A has new owners and we wanted to introduce ourselves, Mason Rue (left) and Conner Crawford (right).

Peoria has been home to us since 2018, when we relocated here for Mason's career in Insurance. Since that time we have built and found a wonderful community here in Central Illinois. Conner has also established an interior design firm, Conner Crawford Interior Design, here in Peoria which has allowed him to work closely with local homeowners, businesses, artists and craftsmen locally and beyond. We have been patrons of Exhibit A since we first moved here for Conner's clients and for our own home.

Our connection to Exhibit A began on a much more personal level - as Barb's next door neighbors! What started as a friendship between neighbors eventually grew into conversations about the future of Exhibit A as Barb prepared for retirement and to pursue her own creative ventures. We are incredibly grateful for the trust Barb has placed in us to carry that legacy forward.

Barb has created something truly special with Exhibit A - a place known for exceptional framing, featuring talented local artists and building meaningful relationships with clients throughout the community. As Barb begins a new chapter focused on creating her own art, she can do so knowing that the gallery and frame shop she dedicated her career to for over 30 years is in capable and caring hands.

We are also very happy to share the Sabrina and Tim will remain with Exhibit A as our Framing Specialists. Their craftsmanship, experience and dedication are an invaluable part of Exhibit A and their continued presence will help ensure the continued level of quality and service clients have come to know and trust here at Exhibit A.

We look forward to honoring what Barb has built while we thoughtfully guide Exhibit A into its next chapter. We are excited to continue supporting local artist, the community and welcome new faces.

Dear Clients, Artists, and Friends

After 31 beautiful, whirlwind years of running this gallery, it is time for me to step down, pick up my own paintbrush, and retire.
I still remember the nervous excitement of opening day three decades ago. I was 26 years old and had a dream that became a reality with the help and support from my family. I wondered if anyone would walk through the door. What followed was a lifetime of shared stories, breathtaking exhibitions, 1000’s of custom framing projects and friendships that shaped who I am.

Together, we turned several simple spaces with white walls into living, breathing exhibits to showcase local artists in our community. My goal over the years was to always preserve memorabilia and capture the perfect presentation of each and every work of art that I was blessed to preserve.

I truly thank each and every one of you for the amazing support and your shared love of art over the past decades. It has truly been a joy to serve our community.

The journey of Exhibit A Gallery continues. I am thrilled to announce Conner Crawford and Mason Rue as the new owners. Their enthusiasm of owning the Gallery will continue the legacy for generations to come. Sabrina and Tim will still be a part of the Exhibit A Gallery family. I truly cannot thank Sabrina enough for her true dedication to me over the many years.

The future of the Gallery is in the absolute best hands that I could ever have expected in new ownership. Conner, Mason and myself will be hosting an open house at the gallery to celebrate 31 years on September 25th from 5-8 pm.
