Yo Photographers!

We are not promoting this type of street documentation but we also know some in our photography community are doing it and /or thinking about doing it. We found this article to be helpful. Take a minute to read. Link in comments. .

Photographing ICE is not just another street shoot—it’s volatile, charged, and unpredictable. Cameras can heighten tension in already emotional situations, and the stakes are real for everyone involved. If you choose to document it, do so intentionally and responsibly.

Know your legal rights before you ever raise the camera. Understand where you’re allowed to stand, what you’re allowed to photograph, and when to disengage. Laws can vary by location, and ignorance won’t protect you in the moment. Preparation, awareness, and restraint matter just as much as composition.

Documenting reality carries weight. Make sure you’re informed enough to carry it safely—for yourself and for others. See link in comments.

Yo Photographers—truly blown away by our creative community. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Time & Space zine release party last night. It takes a united group of creatives to keep pushing photography forward, and last night was a powerful step toward elevating photographers and photography here in Phoenix. Huge thanks to and of for making it happen. Follow to stay in the loop.

Last night was our first ever movie night, and it was exactly what we hoped for—chill, fun, and filled with the best kind of company: our local photography community.

We screened Finding Vivian Maier, and the film sparked the kind of thoughtful and curious conversations that reminded us why we love bringing our Arizona photography community together.

Community gatherings like this keep us energized. They remind us how lucky we are to be surrounded by people who care about not only the craft and creativity, but also about connection with other photographers.

Thanks to and for the collaboration AND everyone who came out and made it such a great evening.

Oh and we will be spending the entire weekend hunting for trunks of undeveloped film rolls at every Goodwill and antique shop in the Valley. 😎

Yoooooo portrait photographers!

Trying something new here…We’ve had two requests this week for recommendations, and we’d love to connect photographers with potential work in our community. If you’re a local portrait/couples photographer currently taking new clients, drop your Instagram or website in the comments below. We’ll make sure the folks who reached out know about this post. They are paying gigs…not this free, great exposure crap 🤘😆🫣

Maybe—hopefully—we can help make a match.
