Calling all dinosaur fans!!! 🦕🌿
The "DinoLab" exhibit is now open at the Carnegie Museum through January 3, 2027!
It takes more than just digging up old dinosaur bones and putting them on display. The bones, though hard, are very brittle and often broken. The DinoLab is essential to bringing these bones "back to life"! This exhibit highlights REAL DINOSAUR BONES, models showing what some of the dinosaurs looked like while alive, & dioramas showcasing a dinosaur dig site and combat between two dinosaur foes! The "mini lab" set up in the museum provides a snapshot of the tools, equipment, and glues used to make the bones recognizable and presentable to the public.

PaleoJoe himself will be onsite at the Carnegie Museum on the following dates for Dinosaur Bone Cleaning Demonstrations:
- Oct. 24
- Nov. 14
- Dec. 5
You can walk right up, talk to him about what he is doing and get an up-close view of real bones!

PaleoJoe is also hosting a more in-depth Dinosaur Day on Nov. 14 where you will learn about the modern techniques used to discover what dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures were like by the evidence found in the ground surrounding the bones!
