Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat explores how Black music, culture, and global politics intersect — revealing who controls culture, whose voices are amplified, and what histories are erased or reclaimed.

This gathering invites community into reflection, conversation, and collective learning drawing from African and Diasporic wisdom, Sankofa, and Ubuntu to look within and move forward together.

We are a very small team that does almost everything in-house. Because why not? We are more than capable, and oftentimes these are the moments where true magic is created. We cannot thank our team enough for how much they contribute to L’Atelier, each and every one is the epitome of a creative and we are SO grateful to share space with such hardworking & talented individuals.

Breathing life into one another is essential to authentically building community, and looking back on how far we’ve come it is insane to see how much we’ve all grown & blossomed into our true selves in such a short time.

Merci Beaucoup, Ayùe, Mahalo Nui Loa, Mange Tak…THANK YOU. We would not be who we are without our team and friends that have turned into family. You are so loved and seen, we are grateful to be on this journey together ❤️
