Sommerville Pottery is thrilled to introduce our 2026 Intern, Ella Longwell. A high school senior, Ella lives in Bath, NY and has been working with clay for more than 5 years with John Keddy from Rocky Hill Pottery. Her work is very unique . Inspired by nature and hours spent outdoors, she uses various decorative and carving techniques, including combining her passion for print making with her pottery. Ella is typically in the studio on Tuesday and Thursday so stop by and say hello. Stay tuned for information about an open house in late summer or early fall when you can see how her work progressed throughout the internship.
