Join us this Thursday Feb 19th at the Lincoln-Douglas Debate Museum for a fascinating look at the life and times of Missouri ragtime legend "Blind" Boone, who appeared frequently in Quincy between the 1880s and 19teens. Doors open for snacks at 5:00 PM, talk to begin at 5:30 PM. Should be a great night.

Join the Vermilion County Museum for the special opening event of the 'Journey to Freedom' exhibit, highlighting notable individuals involved in the Illinois Underground Railroad.

Heather Feezor from Looking for Lincoln will share some background on the individuals highlighted in the exhibit and how the exhibit came to be.

The event is Thursday, January 15 from 5:30-7:30 at the Vermilion County Museum at 116 N Gilbert St, Danville, Illinois.

This is a free event and there is extra parking in the Carle lots adjacent to the building. Light refreshments will be served.
