Join Perla Gerez in this two hour bilingual guided painting experience at Diamante Arts & Cultural Center.

Perla will be guiding the students, providing you with a set concept, and walking you through creating your own unique work. Create your Ofrenda masterpiece this session inspired by Mexican artist Maria Izquierdo, channeling the Dia De Mu***os energy of the season.

Bring your favorite libations to drink responsibly, Diamante provides the materials, Perla provides the guidance, and you leave with your own creation.

Are you joining us for the final Herencia send off?

Although Herencia 2026 is closing at the Diamante gallery, the exhibition remains open at Oberlin Regional Library and Express Fayetteville Library until November 2nd.

Join us for the free rescheduled closing reception at the North Carolina Department of Administration on October 28 3pm - 5pm.

This exhibition was considerately curated by Peter Marin. Listen to his statement that delve to the themes connecting the works in this exhibition.

Thank you to all the artists who shared their work, the patrons who came to appreciate them, and the people who made this possible.

Enjoy figure drawing from a live model, receive lectures that build on each other week after week and instruction from Peter Marin.
