We want to thank the children and parents of the 2025/26 ContArte program that were able to join us this afternoon for the ContArte exhibition.

Thank you to Diamante Latina Artist-in-Residence, Aurelis Lugo, for the wonderful work she did this year with the children. We also want to Thank Lupita Inspires, LLC for joining the fun and sharing one of her books with the children.
Hope to see you in the fall for the next school year program.

Queremos agradecer a los niños, niñas y padres de familia que participaron en el programa ContArte 2025/26 y a los que pudieron acompañarnos esta tarde en la exposición de ContArte.

Gracias a la artista residente de Diamante, Aurelis Lugo, por el maravilloso trabajo que realizó este año con los niños y las niñas.

El Campamento ImaginArte es un campamento creativo de medio día para niños y niñas de 9 a 12 años que fomenta la imaginación, la autoexpresión y la exploración cultural a través de actividades prácticas de artes visuales. Los participantes experimentarán con pintura, collage, escultura, técnicas mixtas y proyectos colaborativos mientras aprenden sobre artistas y tradiciones de América Latina y de distintas partes del mundo. Cada día combina creatividad, narración de historias, música y construcción de comunidad en un ambiente divertido y acogedor donde se anima a los jóvenes artistas a crear con libertad y expresar sus ideas únicas.

ImaginArte Camp is a creative half-day summer art camp for ages 9–12 that encourages imagination, self-expression, and cultural exploration through hands-on visual arts activities. Campers will experiment with painting, collage, sculpture, mixed media, and collaborative projects while learning about artists and traditions from Latin America and around the world. Each day combines creativity, storytelling, music, and community-building in a fun and welcoming environment where young artists are encouraged to create boldly and express their unique ideas.

In this exhibition, both artists transform meticulously selected found, discarded, and abandoned materials into profound philosophical realms. Together, their work offers a rich and ebullient perspective on the interdependence of nature, the fragility of life, and the tragedy of time.

¡The Soccer Tournament (El Torneo de Fútbol siglas en inglés - TST) regresa a Cary por cuarto año consecutivo del 27 de mayo al 1 de junio en WakeMed Soccer Park!
