Truckee Meadows Community College provides the opportunity for visual artists working in a diversity of styles and different genres to exhibit their works in the college’s art galleries or other appropriate locations on campus. The goals of the art galleries are to promote and generate interaction and dialogue among visual artists and between artists and the public; to specifically provide an educ

ational arts forum dedicated to innovative programming and artistic excellence for Washoe County, Eastern Northern California, and the TMCC campus community.

Don’t miss the opening reception and gallery talk for Beyond Printmaking: The Artistic Journey of Candace Nicol Garlock (2004-2025) curated by Tamara Scronce.

Location: Dandini Campus, in the student center in the Red Mountain Building.

Talk starts at 5:30 p.m.

Other exhibits on display features three print exchanges. Communities West VI, Mash-UP! And Fear Factory: Technology and the Culture of Fear.

All galleries are free and open to the public.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s incredible opening artists’ reception at Truckee Meadows Community College!

We were thrilled to see such a fantastic turnout. Your presence, energy, and support made the evening truly special. From engaging conversations with the artists to the thoughtful appreciation of the work on display, it was a celebration of creativity, community, and connection.

A big thank you to all the participating artists for sharing your vision and talent with us. We at TMCC are so proud to showcase your work in our Main Gallery.

If you missed the opening, don’t worry—the exhibition will be on view through July 31st! Stop by and experience the powerful art created by our talented community.

Friday 7:30 am - 12 p.m.
