Don’t miss the opening reception and gallery talk for Beyond Printmaking: The Artistic Journey of Candace Nicol Garlock (2004-2025) curated by Tamara Scronce.

Location: Dandini Campus, in the student center in the Red Mountain Building.

Talk starts at 5:30 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s incredible opening artists’ reception at Truckee Meadows Community College!

We were thrilled to see such a fantastic turnout. Your presence, energy, and support made the evening truly special. From engaging conversations with the artists to the thoughtful appreciation of the work on display, it was a celebration of creativity, community, and connection.

A big thank you to all the participating artists for sharing your vision and talent with us. We at TMCC are so proud to showcase your work in our Main Gallery.

If you missed the opening, don’t worry—the exhibition will be on view through July 31st! Stop by and experience the powerful art created by our talented community.

TONIGHT!!

Opening artists' reception & artist talk from 5:00–7:00 p.m. in the Student Center located in the Red Mountain. Building of the Dandini campus. This free event is a great opportunity to experience an inspiring lineup of exhibitions and connect with the vibrant art community.

Our Main Gallery features the work of Rachel Stiff, who will be giving an artist talk at 5:30 p.m. Rachel’s work is deeply influenced by the vast Nevada landscape, and she will be discussing her artistic process, inspirations, and the themes she explores.

In addition to Rachel’s exhibition, we have several other outstanding shows on display:

Erik Lauritzen Gallery: Printmakers’ Conspiracy – A dynamic collection of gelatin monotypes organized by Candace Garlock.

Red Mountain Gallery: The Artwork of Clayton Middle School – A showcase of talented young artists, curated by Delphina Martinez.

Red Mountain Student Gallery: In Search of Light – A stunning solo exhibition by TMCC student Anthony Jacks.

There’s a fantastic range of artwork to experience, and we hope you’ll join us for an evening of art, conversation, and inspiration!
