Now on display at @‌thebeckrhinebeck until early April — the Sling Back Lounge Chair by Small Goods Design.

Designed by Sam Shippee, the chair pairs sculptural white oak joinery with a richly patterned sling seat, balancing strength and softness, structure and ornament. The result is a piece that feels both grounded and expressive.

On view in Rhinebeck alongside works by other Hudson Valley makers until early April, before the display concludes.

Every impression tells a story. For Josh Nathanson of JRN Pottery , it might be his grandmother’s wedding lace, a wildflower gathered on a Hudson Valley trail, or a piece of fabric discovered in a thrift shop. Pressed into clay, these textures become timeless — reminders of fleeting moments made permanent.

Each vessel is both practical and poetic: bowls, platters, and vases that carry the memory of what touched them first. Imperfect, tactile, and entirely unique.

We’re honored to share Josh’s work at through December — a celebration of material, memory, and the beauty of human touch.

We’re happy to welcome at The Beck.

Based in the Catskill Mountains, Becca is a mixed-media fiber artist whose creative practice is rooted in nature, craft, and community. Her work has been exhibited across the Hudson Valley, Capital Region, and beyond—including recent shows at the Hancock Shaker Museum and Holding Space.

From sculptural chairs to her fashion-forward outerwear line, ZAPWARE, Becca’s designs are bold, textured, and full of character. We’re thrilled to have her work in the mix at The Beck—bringing fresh perspective and artistry to the space.

Sneak Peek: bold, joyful, one-of-a-kind seating by coming soon to

We’re excited to debut Becca’s vibrant mixed-media chairs in our next design window at The Beck. As a Bard alum, this town means a lot to her—and it shows in the energy of the work.

Her dining chairs are fully customizable (and yes, she can repair that broken seat you’ve been ignoring).

This might just be the most unique and artistic lighting piece we've ever had the pleasure of featuring — and believe us, we've seen a lot of lighting! This lamp isn’t just a light; it’s a glowing work of art, defined by its distinctive shape and functionality.

The dimmable LED lamp casts a warm, diffused glow, perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere. Crafted from mahogany wood, glass, copper, and premium lighting components, this piece combines beauty with precision. The LED strip, boasting a 95+ CRI rating, ensures true-to-life color rendering, while the solid copper base adds stability and elegance.

Finished with a wiped lacquer for a sleek touch.
