A historic new chapter in contemporary glass is underway. Kosta Boda, internationally acclaimed artist Ann Wolff, and the Ann Wolff Foundation Gotland have announced the launch of The International Snowball Award, a recurring international award for artistic excellence beginning in 2027.

Rooted in Wolff’s iconic Snowball votive design from 1973, this award celebrates legacy, innovation, and the future of glass art while providing visibility and recognition for female Nordic and international artists.

We are excited to share this important announcement honoring one of the defining figures in contemporary glass.
