Visit the Library Gallery to see “Master of Fine Arts: Studio Art Candidate Exhibition 2026” from 5/12 – 5/22. Featuring works by Ky Drennan, Mary Duman, Maddie Dunn, Keith B. Koury, Nicholas McMenamin, Ama Posey, and Olga Tymoshchuk.

A reception will be held on Thursday, 5/14, from 5-7PM with presentations by the artists starting at 5:30PM. For free Sac State parking, park in any student spot on campus and use coupon code EV16514.

This week’s featured exhibition in the Witt Gallery is “The Sum of All Parts” by Heather Galloway. From the artist:

“’In the case of all things which have several parts and in which the totality is not, as it were, a mere heap, but the whole is something besides the parts...’ - Aristotle
‘The Sum of All Parts’ is a study of the unique pieces that shape our identity. Toggling between abstract and realism, each artwork a bookmark in the pages of my life thus far.”

Visit the Witt Gallery to see Stefani Ann’s “Mothers Craft Cabinet” from 2/17 – 2/20. From the artist:

“The unspoken battles of our mothers fought in the silent reverence of craft and preserved in clear plastic reliquary which sit perfectly organized in the sanctum of her craft cabinet. The mischievous excitement of raiding mom’s craft cabinet to decorate the walls of a bedroom only the genius of a 15 year old girl could produce.”
