DEADLINE COMING UP SOON!! "The Dark Side of Art" explores how artists use macabre, gothic, and unsettling themes to confront human fears, psychological pain, and societal taboos. It bridges the gap between inner chaos and visual expression, revealing uncomfortable truths about human nature.​ Imagery in your artwork can include the macabre and gothic, subconscious and trauma, the devil and evil, or a personal emotional struggle. All interpretations of the theme are welcome.

Gulf Coast Artists' Alliance will celebrate their 20 year anniversary in a "Through the Years" exhibition that begins with a reception for ArtWalk Saturday, September 12, and concludes with art demos and an open mic afternoon at the end of the month. In the Gallery, exhibition posters covering 20 years of events that feature the work of the local artists in their early years. Plus, hundreds of photos were reviewed and curated into a video of favorite shots taken during events held over the years. Find your favorite artist's work in a poster, their face in our slide show, and participate in the scavenger hunt!
Live music, refreshments provided. Poster reprints will be available.
