On Thursday, Executive Director Brianna Treleven had the pleasure of attending ACE Mentor Program of Cleveland Presentation Night, where Shaker Heights High School placed in the top 3 and advanced to the final round! πŸŽ‰

The ACE Mentor Program connects students with professionals in architecture, construction, and engineering. Since November, we've been partnering with Shaker's ACE team, sharing our needs as a small nonprofit and watching them rise to the challenge.

We've been blown away by their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Now go bring home that win! πŸ†

Thank you to all who joined us on Sunday for our 3rd annual Historic Homes Tour in partnership with Nature Center at Shaker Lakes! We enjoyed a wonderful presentation by Steve Heister of the Northern Ohio Railway Museum over brunch followed by a trolley tour of three beautiful homes dating from 1923 to 2020, all located on or near the rapid lines that were central to the growth of Shaker Heights in the early 20th century.

We are deeply appreciative of the homeowners who welcomed us into their homes and of Stems Fleur for providing beautiful floral arrangements.
