The Education Team, formerly The Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidential Learning Center (APLC), is committed to engaging the future leaders of America in the study of our nation's democratic processes with the aim of developing proactive informed, educated and conscientious citizens and leaders. Reagan Foundation Education is a national resource for civics education and support, by developing i

nnovative educational content, making it available to educators and students and aligning the efforts of prominent local and national civics oriented organizations. This institution brings awareness to the importance of civics education and encourages individuals from all parts of our society to become active participants in the democratic process. Scholarships:
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program honors the legacy and character of our nation's 40th President by rewarding college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars Program awards scholarship money to graduating seniors from Ventura County, California, high schools who exemplify outstanding leadership, character, communication skills, academic achievement and commitment to Ventura County. Ronald Reagan Great Communicator Debate Series is a national series of high school debates that develops proactive informed, educated and conscientious citizens and leaders who can compete for a total of $50,000 in scholarships for college. Leadership and the American Presidency: Undergraduate students can now experience Washington, DC like never before. Leadership and the American Presidency is a new immersive and experiential opportunity for students to spend the summer or semester in the nation's capital. Co-sponsored by The Fund for American Studies, Leadership and the American Presidency is looking to cultivate the next generation of citizens. Summer Camp:
The Ronald Reagan Student Leadership Program is aimed at increasing the civic engagement of student leaders. This program develops leadership kills with a goal of accomplishing the following task: identifying a problem in the community and create an extensive Leadership Action Plan which details a pathway for addressing that problem. Upcoming Programs:
Reagan Foundation Education hosts a variety of programs designed to aid the development of proactive, informed, educated and conscientious citizens. These programs include a Student Speaker Series, educator programing, and civics and pedagogy based professional development sessions. Free Curriculum:
A variety of curricula is available to educators for use in the classroom or to supplement a class visit to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum.

Calling all Northern California high school students 🇺🇸

Join us this summer at Simpson University in Redding, CA, for the 2026 Great American Northern California Leadership Summit — an immersive leadership experience hosted by the The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.

Through hands-on simulations, discussions, and team-building experiences, students will develop leadership skills, explore American values, and walk in the footsteps of President Ronald Reagan.

The Great American Leadership Program (GALP) is growing 🇺🇸 What began at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley now spans campuses across the country — including New College of Florida in Sarasota and now Simpson University in Redding, California.

This summer, 125 rising high school juniors and seniors will gather for an immersive experience focused on leadership, civic learning, and community building.
