On October 1st, we hosted an adults only acrylic pour workshop with our friends Stroll Edinburgh | Suwanee, GA!

The workshop was guided by Elizabeth (Visual Artist: E K Porcel) and Annika (Annika) of our one of our Annikaibly talented instructors . After suiting up in gloves and aprons, everyone got to work on their masterpieces! With each pour and tilt, the unique qualities of the paint were revealed and it was amazing to see the pieces come together in real time. The results were absolutely stunning and we hope to see you at the next workshop!

Over four Thursdays, you’ll gather your own fall specimens, build color in slow layers, and finish with a classical botanical plate stamped with an SFA specimen label.

Colored pencil rewards patience more than talent, and this class is built around that. (Magnifying glasses provided. 🔍)

Digital drawing gives you something paper never has: a safety net. 🛟

Layers keep your decisions separate, undo lets you take risks, and nothing is precious. ✨

Over four weeks with Chantel, you’ll:

🍊 Turn a simple photo into a finished illustration

🌟 Make your own sticker sheet

🔁 Design a seamless pattern (+ a matching phone wallpaper 📱)

🎨 Create a bigger capstone piece that’s entirely yours

📲 Bring your iPad + Apple Pencil or stylus, with Procreate installed ($12.99 one-time)

📅 Saturdays 10am–12pm · Starts Oct 24

Your pet deserves a portrait. 🐾 (They’ve been hinting for years.)

Paint Your Pet in Gouache is four weeks with Elizabeth, turning your favorite photo of your pet into a finished painting you’ll actually want to hang.

Never painted with gouache? Think of it as watercolor’s velvety, more forgiving cousin. 🎨 It’s opaque, so you can layer light colors right over dark ones, and if something goes sideways, you just paint over it.

🐶 Bring your favorite photo of your pet

🎨 Learn to mix their real colors

🖼️ Leave with a finished portrait (and yes, we can frame it for you 😉)

📅 Wednesdays, 1–3pm · Oct 21–Nov 11

🖌️ $150, all materials included · Only 12 seats

Meet Nala Kun (Nala Kun ), the Russian-born American artist behind TwiddleART—a mesmerizing spiral painting technique. Inspired by her grandmother’s embroidery, her oil paintings blend precision, rhythm, and intuition. Now based in San Francisco, she brings her Siberian roots into vivid, expressive compositions that invite you to slow down and look closer. We fell in love with her “Love” painting and are so glad to have it displayed as the first of many works from her.

Atlanta legend GREG MIKE blends street art, skate culture, and classic American cartoons into a vivid world of surreal pop. Bold colors, crisp lines, and mischievous characters define his unmistakable style. From city murals to international galleries, his work invites viewers into a playful universe with an unexpected edge. This Hibe@rnation print was from our personal collection. Floated and matted behind Museum Glass and paired with a hand-painted frame, it creates a truly unique and elevated piece of art.

Our goal has always been to bring works/artists displayed in the largest cities in the world to our lovely community in Suwanee. We are absolutely thrilled both of these pieces are going to an art-loving home here. Stop by and see what’s new on the walls today!

“Loose” doesn’t mean sloppy — it means selective. Knowing what to describe, what to suggest, and when to put the brush down. 🎨

Annika’s class covers landscapes reduced to big, confident shapes and florals painted by gesture instead of outline. Swipe for a little inspiration on where four Sundays can take you. 🌿💧

Sundays 1–3pm, Oct 11–Nov 1. All materials included (100% cotton paper for final pieces). Only 12 seats — link in bio.
