Our friends at the Moore Memorial Public Library have been busy working to expand the "History in the Headlines" digital collection! When you visit the museum, scan the QR codes on display and you will be brought to digitized Texas City Sun issues that relate to the exhibit's information. 📰

The QR codes were created to provide public access to such an interesting collection of local history materials; All items in the "History in the Headlines" collection were digitized by library staff and housed in the library's archives.

This initiative was made possible through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC). And a special thank you to the Moore Memorial Public Library for all the hard work that are bringing these stories to the museum!
