It's the perfect day to paint! Our Art Cafe projects are stocked up and our tables are set and ready for you. 🎨

If you've never visited our Art Cafe before, here's how it works!
1. Drop-in (or make a reservation) and browse our selection of over 30 unique wood cut out projects. All of our projects are designed and cut out by Shelly!
2. Pick your table
3. Paint! Art Cafe is a self guided painted experience, but we're always here to guide you or offer you tips and tricks. Just ask!

No experience necessary | Brink your own drinks to sip while you paint | Plan to spend about 1 - 1.5 hours painting - but feel free to spend as much or as little time as you need.

Enter 800 Cottageview Drive, Traverse City MI into your GPS. Park across from Pleasanton Bakery and look for the signs that say Kirkbride Hall and Historic Tours (Use that entrance!). The stairs will be on your right when you enter and the elevator will be on your left. Head to the 2nd floor and you'll find us right next to Kirkbride Hall.

Good Morning friends and happy Saturday! Our Art Drops are back on schedule for June. We're planning on June 13th for our next drop - we have lots of new fishes, curious plovers, weavings and maybe even a few other fun goodies for the drop. Keep an eye on your inbox for early shopping for the drop and a sweet little coupon code for your purchase!

If you're out and about in TC today, be sure to stop by and check out the Craft show in the front lawn of the Grand Traverse Commons today! Afterwards, drop by the gallery to cool off and to maybe paint a little something of your own. :)

I'll be open 10-5 today (Craft show is 10-3). We hope to see you soon!

If you haven't visited us in our new location yet - heres how to find us: If you enter from the craft show, use the entrance at 1200 11th Street, take the stairs on your left as soon as you walk inside, then follow our signs down the hallway to find us.

If you are parking in the back, look for the Kirkbride Hall entrance (or the Historic Tours Entrance) and take the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor. You'll find us right next to Kirkbride Hall.

If you're looking for something to do in between patches of rain, stop by the gallery and check out our art cafe projects. 🎨

Shelly (my mom!) designs and carves all of our hands on Art projects, and we now have over 30 designs to pick from! 🤩 For summer we may switch over to a reservation only system so if you plan to paint, please check out website and book a time slot! I'm hoping to still be able to accommodate some drop ins but we have such a small space, things get crowded fast.
