Please join us in welcoming our new Director of Education and Public Programs, Sirilak Rottler! 💙

Sirilak (pronounced Siri-luck) is an art educator dedicated to connecting communities with museums and cultural institutions. She has taught at MOCA, the University of Arizona Museum of Art, and Pima Community College’s Basic Adult Education program, and earned her Master’s degree in Art Education from the University of Arizona.

When asked to choose her favorite miniature, Sirilak picked Barrio Kitchen by Mario Patino (2019).

“I’m inspired by the care Patino put into every distressed, lived-in detail, which captures the beauty of everyday life in the South Tucson Barrio neighborhood.”

We couldn’t be more excited to have Sirilak join The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures. Her passion for art education, storytelling, and community engagement will help create meaningful experiences for visitors of all ages.

Be sure to say hello and welcome her to the museum in the comments! 👋
