Shenandoah County Celebrates 1776, June 20th, Woodstock,
10am-5pm. Experience the sights, sounds, and spirit of the American Revolution.

Our featured participants of the week are:
-- Speaker- Dr. Emily Sneff, PhD, is an early American historian and leading expert on the Declaration of Independence. She is also
a guest curator at the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia and at Historic Trappe, Pennsylvania. She will speak on that document as well as Fourth of July celebrations from prior years. Her book "When the Declaration of Independence Was News," was published in April. β Noon, Emanuel Lutheran Sanctuary.
-- Portrayal - Patrick Henry Jolly, 5th great-grandson of Patrick Henry, will portray Patrick Henry and discuss this Founding Fatherβs legacy, particularly relating to Virginia. β 1pm, Woodstock Presbyterian Sanctuary; 3pm, Emanuel Lutheran sanctuary
