✨ Nog niet uitgekeken op de wereld van Valérie Mannaerts?

In Museum M in Leuven kreeg je een overzicht van dertig jaar kunstenaarschap van Valérie Mannaerts, aangevuld met nieuw werk in de expo Antennae.
Wie nog niet genoeg heeft van haar intrigerende beeldtaal, kan in de welkomshal van het Marnixgebouw in Brussel de reeks Real if I want to (2014) uit de ING Collectie bewonderen.

Deze zes schilderijen vloeien naadloos in elkaar over en creëren een fascinerend samenspel. Bekende motieven uit Mannaerts' oeuvre, zoals textiel, vegetale elementen en paravents, keren hier terug in gelaagde composities. De werken staan in dialoog met deze van Ann Veronica Janssens, Richard Deacon, Antony Gormley, Laure Prouvost.

✨ Envie de découvrir davantage l’univers de Valérie Mannaerts ?

Au M Leuven, le public a pu explorer trente ans de création artistique de Valérie Mannaerts, ainsi que ses œuvres les plus récentes dans l’exposition Antennae.
Pour prolonger cette découverte, rendez-vous dans le hall d’accueil du bâtiment Marnix à Bruxelles, où est présentée la série "Real if I want to" (2014), issue de la Collection ING.

Ces six peintures s’enchaînent avec fluidité et créent un dialogue visuel captivant. Des motifs récurrents dans l’œuvre de Mannaerts, tels que les textiles, les éléments végétaux et les paravents, réapparaissent ici dans des compositions stratifiées. Les œuvres dialoguent avec celles d’Ann Veronica Janssens, Richard Deacon, Antony Gormley et Laure Prouvost.

✨ Can’t get enough of Valérie Mannaerts’ captivating visual universe?

At M Leuven, visitors could discover an overview of thirty years of Valérie Mannaerts’ artistic practice, complemented by new works in the exhibition Antennae. If you are still captivated by her intriguing visual language, be sure to visit the welcome hall of The Marnix in Brussels, where the series Real if I want to (2014) from the ING Collection is on display.

These six paintings flow seamlessly into one another, creating a fascinating visual interplay. Familiar motifs from Mannaerts’ oeuvre, such as textiles, vegetal elements and folding screens, reappear here in layered compositions. The works enter into dialogue with pieces by Ann Veronica Janssens, Richard Deacon, Antony Gormley and Laure Prouvost.

Segue at The Marnix Gallery: Where space becomes an experience

Segue is the new exhibition at The Marnix Gallery, at the heart of our headquarters in Brussels.

Created by artist duo Carla Arocha & Stéphane Schraenen, Segue explores a fascinating territory where space, light and movement are in constant dialogue. Boundaries between inside and outside dissolve, giving way to an ever-evolving play of perception that invites each visitor to experience art differently.

In this exhibition, architecture itself becomes part of the artwork: every perspective, every movement transforms the experience.

With The Marnix Gallery, ING reinforces its long-standing commitment to art and creativity by fostering exchange, engaging in dialogue with society, and affirming its dual role as both a financial institution and an independent partner in the art world in Brussels and internationally.
