Alis volat propriis, “he flies with his own wings.”
A powerful expression of autonomy and self-determination.

Coderch & Malavia, Sculptors engraved this meaningful phrase within the body of the sculpture itself, turning it into the figure’s inner compass. The winged form symbolises independence, not carried by a higher force but driven by one’s own strength.

The golden circle evokes the mythical and the sacred, in contrast with the raw, earthly materiality of the piece. A work that captures the moment one chooses their own path.
