Stefan Schilling is a multi-dimensional artist creating paintings, film, media-arts and graphics since 1968. His practices have led him to exhibtions and actions in various contexts on a steady basis of exploration.

Out of Nowhere, the upcoming solo exhibition at GH36 from June 6-21 highlights a portion of Stefan‘s surrealistic body of works.

The title represents not only a simple comment on the global moment, but more the duality of creation. When in a state of trained and self-aware creative flow, one does not conceptualize nor scheme, but rather enters the river and finds a landing.

From one perspective, one might say the result comes out of nowhere, some spark, vision or just begin, yet the result comes from, in the case of Schilling, a depth of many somewheres.

As we have departed from the beauty of flowers, in keeping spirits high, we go further in seeking metanoia and welcoming again and his celebration of the most beautiful gift we have on earth to respect, the woman. Regardless of technique, effect or approach to the representation, it must be achieved with the highest respect in one’s artistic process and considered result.

We look forward to the opening tomorrow evening at 6pm, and carrying through the weekend, with , where new works and insights are presented as an evolving multidimensional process.

The winter was cold yet snowy. The spring is here, yet the world is filled with darkness and fear. What we can do, is bring a bit more sun and light to enjoy the moments we still have on this beautiful planet. On the 17th of April we open the exhibition „in the meadow“ from Ann-Kristen Fleischhauer. Six oil paintings that invite you to immerse yourself in the sensuality of a summer meadow.

Ann-Kristen Fleischauer is an artist from Bremen, living in Berlin, that has been exhibiting her multimedia, paintings and light objects since 1994.

Kenny Anders Aquilante (aka: Ken Mutant, Karlsson,…..) does not like to be called an artist. He doesn’t like to follow style nor genre, but makes creations of music and art which all have stories of his own creation for movies that don’t exist.

He is a Swedish born modern electronic music maker, producer and DJ of a moment. He has typically denied most all commercial offers whether in Spain, London, Berlin or Amsterdam and stays the course in seeking to continue the journey in finding oneself through extreme creation, learning and understanding.

Over the past years, one producer, Claas Breiler, has co-compiled a compilation of a small part of his works that has now been pressed on double vinyl entitled „Ken Mutant:Learning to Live Pt.99.“ Mutant Muzik. This includes cover art from Aquilante’s collage works, an inside cover from photographer Marc Räder and backside from Photographer Julia Tanzer.

We celebrate this artistic embodiment with two events on Saturday the 17th and Friday the 24th of this wintery month of January with two listening sessions, followed by a DJ set from Kenny Anders, with visual arts from VJ Cyper (17th/digital) and Alexandra Macía (24th/analog). On both evenings we will also be projecting a small selection of Aquilante‘s collage works.

We are thankful to Audictive audio in providing the new high end sound system with DJ set from DJShazam and all involved. Vynil and drinks will be available for purchase. The evenings will certainly not be as tame as this writing.

Time relation is intense. We see time moving so fast yet slow. We are here now but already the past has passed and future is now. And the cycle repeats. Hopes are what we have, as belief is tainted.

There is a true color with clear definition of a mixture, no stories. There are actions made with good intent and others not. There is a reason we follow paths.

In true artistic moments, one is knowing yet humble to know. To know that if one looks at history and oneself is the creation a combination of existing elements and the ability to express oneself where a style comes through, or does the individual believe it’s truly their invention.

So many greats of art will give credit to the ones they take from, others have more the thief mentality and no consideration nor empathy.

We were fortunate to have as an example of a responsible artist to his craft and practice. Our last action for the year before we move more towards music and art.

We can only hope at this time next year, the real becomes the standard with good intent. But that’s a 20,000 or more story, but the same hope:-)

We wish you good times, inspiration, empathy, hope, protection, resilience and love with deep meaning.

Chris Logan‘s art brings us to a depth of new myths, mixed realms and natural earth tones.

As a mult-talented artist one can feel his sense of music flow through the works and allow for interpretation and creativity in perception.

At the opening last week there was a really nice mixture of people creative and sensitive to the moment with a musical background from Chris that reflected the works, bringing one deeper into the dimensions.

The feedback has been excellent and warm where we look forward to this Friday evening with a live painting action from with DJ Moe playing a mixture of music for the background and followed by moving one’s body.

What a lovely weekend it was with .dettori and A great exhibition, nice people, good discussions, artist talk and holiday buying.

But as time moves, so do we. Coming up this Friday evening 12.12 will be the final exhibition of the year from a lovely Berlin based USA painter, mixed media artist, DJ and soundscape composer

“Pulses Of Impressions”
Christopher “Loganic” Logan

As a visual artist and DJ for more than 30 years, Christopher “Loganic” Logan often sought ways to merge artmaking and sound shaping in his creations. Long hours of crafting thematic sound collages or fusing vinyl records, cassettes and other music media into his paintings led to in-depth sonic essays and various experimental paintings.

For this exhibition we have selected a swarth of drawings and paintings that represent Logan’s visual impression of sound. “Pulses Of Impressions” highlights his unique approaches to creating visual works with inherit sonic feelings. The work explores soulfully rendered expressions, the rhythm of mark-making, mixing media and the laying of textures. Logan’s works are fueled by rhythms, waves of energy, through which, as a vessel, he exposes momentary moods. Some characters dance through their situations. Others appear meditative. Somehow the soundtracks of their conditions are often implied.

We welcome you for a night of art, original soundscapes and discussion.
