🚨 WHO IS UNDER THE HOOD? 🚨
We are officially choosing our first Traitor... or are they Faithful? 🤫🐺

Long before Claudia Winkleman and those iconic hooded cloaks, ancient visitors to Aquae Sulis were looking upon these exact mysterious figures.

This fascinating stone carving depicts the Genii Cucullati ("Hooded Spirits"), enigmatic Celtic deities wrapped in heavy cloaks and believed to be guardians of the local landscape and sacred springs.

Aquae Sulis wasn't just a bathhouse. It was one of Roman Britain's most important spiritual centres, where pilgrims travelled from across the empire seeking healing, protection and divine favour from the sacred waters.

The three figures are no coincidence either. Their appearance as a tight triad reflects the Celtic belief that grouping deities in threes amplified their power and protective abilities.

Fans of The Traitors might recognise the look... 👀

Are they faithful guardians of the sacred waters, or are they hiding secrets beneath those hoods?
