Just on with making the prints for my new YouTube series on photo papers. Here are a couple made on Hahnemuhle‘s lovely photo gloss baryta X paper. In the series I will be looking at papers from Canson Infinity, Permajet, Innova fine art paper, Canon and Hahnemuhle, all printed using a Canon pro 310 pigment ink printer with its beautiful new matt black ink and overall improved range of colours which handles all papers of varying thicknesses and weights including the heaviest fine art matt Cotton papers. Whether you want to make prints for everyday use, or whether you want to get your work down on some of the finest cotton museum bread papers, there’s going to be something for everyone in these videos. More information soon but for now I’m going to crack on and get all these prints made.

New work on show here in my gallery/studios. I really like this, made during my last workshop in Venice as we looked at shooting hand held in the middle of the day. So unusual to see the little tables outside Caffe Florian empty, allowing the viewer to study the scene both inside and outside this famous old Caffe. The reflection of parts of the Procuratie Vecchie in St. Mark’s Square add a sense of place. Shot on a Canon UK and Ireland R5 with a 24-70 f2.8L mkII. I’ll be printing this as part of my upcoming series of YouTube videos in which I look at papers from different manufacturers, Canson Infinity Hahnemühle UK PermaJet: Inkjet Media Canon UK and Ireland and ICanon UK and Ireland thosInnovaodes early August :)
