You may have spotted striking large Moon Jars in the gallery — and we’re delighted to now have these beautiful smaller vessels available too!

‘The Narrows’ stoneware vase collection is inspired by the dramatic meeting point of the Irish Sea and Strangford Lough, where tidal energy and movement shape the landscape. Each piece reflects the dynamic flow and turbulence of this unique coastal environment through expressive maiolica glaze decals and layered textures.

Handmade in County Down, Tracey’s work is deeply connected to the Irish landscape, creating vessels that celebrate discovery, nature, and the emotional pull of our coastlines.

These smaller pieces make a thoughtful gift or a beautiful addition to your home — perfect for shelves, side tables, or simply admired as sculptural objects in their own right 💙

Pop into the gallery to see them in person.

A few highlights from the opening night of our current exhibition, 𝘼 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚!🌿

A big thank you to Craft NI Chair Kim Mawhinney for opening the exhibition and to the makers who travelled to be here for the evening! We missed those who were not able to make it but we are delighted to have their works in our Gallery space.

The Gallery was busy as usual on a Late Night Art, and 𝘼 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 is now open t othe public until June 26th. Those who cannot make it in person can read more about the exhibiting makers and their works on our exhibition website:

𝙍𝙝𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙢, the upcoming August Craft Month exhibition, is now accepting applications! This year, we invite makers to consider the connections between making and music.

Are you drawn to the rhythm and repetition of traditional music, where patterns emerge, repeat and develop? Do you visualise harmony and tone in your work or does it call to mind a soundscape? Or see the movement and flow of a lyric? A musician playing in a group may bring a new interpretation to a piece in that context – does working in a collaboration drive new elements of your practice? Has a song sparked an impulse or an idea that you want to express through your making? Or perhaps the tactile pull of the materials used in instrument-making – metal, wood, leather and textile – open areas for exploration for you.

We invite you to consider these and other interpretations of the theme for our August Craft Month exhibition 2026 and we look forward to receiving your proposals!
