The beautiful wisteria is currently in bloom at Blakesley Hall! The Hall and gardens look lovely at this time of year so do pop by to take a look.

Our Herb Garden Cafe os also now open serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.

The site is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 11.00am-4.00pm. We look forward to welcoming you to Blakesley soon.

We still have some tickets available for our fantastic event Tall Tales: Goldilocks and The Three Bears tomorrow at 11.00am and 2.00pm.

Take part in an interactive story telling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Join us in the kitchen where Goldilocks tasted the bears’ porridge, see the chairs belonging to the Three Bears and find the beds that Goldilocks tried out.

Looking for things to keep the kids busy in the Easter holidays? 🐣

Come along to Blakesley Hall and enjoy our events and activities including our Easter Trail, the popular 'Goldilocks and Three Bears' storytelling tour and creative craft activities. Explore our gardens and bring along a picnic to enjoy too!

Our Herb Garden Cafe will also be open selling hot and cold drinks and snacks.

We are looking forward to our fantastic Tudor Women guided tour at Blakesley Hall on Thursday 5th March at 2pm to celebrate International Women's Day. The tour will explore stories about daily life, traditions and the challenges women faced during the Tudor period.

There are limited places on this special guided tour - please see booking link in comments below. Please note this tour is only suitable for children aged 12 years and over.

We are looking forward to welcoming ticketholders to our Blakesley Hall by Candlelight event this evening!

In our Herb Garden Cafe, there will be a selection of hot and cold drinks on sale as well as an activity to make your own 'tussie mussie' small herb bouquet. The Herb Garden Cafe will open at 4.45pm, so you are welcome to visit the cafe before or after your tour.

Access to the event this evening is by ticket only. The event is now sold out but please keep an eye on our website for future events.

Pick up a candle and step through the doors of Blakesley Hall as it might have looked on a dark night 400 years ago.

We’re excited to present Blakesley Hall by Candlelight on Friday 20th February, where the hall will be bathed in the warm glow of LED candles, recreating a Tudor night. Join our friendly storyteller to discover Tudor secrets and superstitions surrounding the night, and watch shadows flicker in the candlelight as you explore the Hall. A fun evening suitable for all the family!


After your tour join us in the Herb Garden Cafe to take part in our Tudor inspired craft activity.

Entry to this event is by guided tour. Tours at 5.00pm and 6.30pm and last one hour. Tours start in the Hall.

Due to Met Office Amber warnings, Blakesley Hall will be closed from 2pm on Thursday 8 January, and all day Friday 9 January, in order to ensure the safety of our staff and the public. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Join us for a costumed festive guided tour around Blakesley Hall, exploring Tudor Christmas traditions and stories.

See the Hall decorated with greenery from the grounds. The tour ends with traditional wassailing in the orchard in the Blakesley garden.

Pre-booking recommended.

Tours take place on 4, 11, 18 December at 12pm and last for 1 hour.

Christmas Tour is included in your ticket to the Hall. The Hall is open from 11am - 4pm for you to explore either before or after your tour.

Looking for things to do with the kids in half term? Come and join our storyteller for an atmospheric spooky tour of Blakesley Hall to celebrate Halloween.

Go around the Hall on a journey where you will find out all about Halloween traditions and stories! We also have a Pumpkin Trail in the Hall to add to the Halloween fun. 🎃

Tours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 2.00pm and last 1 hour.
