A paranormal sleepover… inside Bodmin Jail.

You’re not visiting this Saturday…
you’re staying.

From 8pm, the doors close behind you. The visitors are gone, the lights drop, and the building settles into something much older… much quieter.

The night begins with a guided paranormal investigation. You’ll use real equipment, take part in experiments, and explore the spaces where activity is most often reported.

After that, the jail is yours.

Wander the empty cells, walk the long corridors, and experience it all at your own pace. No being led, no rushing through. Just you and the atmosphere.

At 2am, most would go home.

You don’t.

Find somewhere to lie down, the Naval Wing, the Dark Walk, and see if sleep comes easy. For some it does. For others… it really doesn’t.

Who is Caroline McKendrick-Gibson?

For one special evening at Bodmin Jail, we are joined by paranormal researcher Caroline McKendrick-Gibson for a deep dive into one of the most mysterious and misunderstood paranormal phenomena: poltergeists.

Caroline is a scientific paranormal investigator, internationally published writer, and podcast host whose work explores the paranormal through evidence, research, and critical thinking. Her investigations focus on understanding why these phenomena are reported and how they can sometimes be explained.

During this special event, Caroline will deliver a fascinating talk exploring:

🚨 NEW: After Dark: Overnight 🚨

On the last Saturday of every month, a small group of guests will have the chance to spend the entire night inside the jail - exploring its darker side long after the doors close.

The evening begins with a guided paranormal investigation until 2am. After that, the night is yours. You can try to get some sleep in one of the cells, roll out your sleeping bag, or keep exploring the corridors and wings of the jail on your own.

It’s a very different experience when the building goes quiet and the lights are out.

Spaces for our first overnight on Saturday 28th March are already filling up, so if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to spend the night inside the jail, now’s the time to book.
