Bridport museum has an upcoming Ichthyosaur exhibition, which opens on the 24th of October.

Pictured below are the team who’ve worked so hard to excavate the fossil. Want to learn more about what they’ve discovered? Then come in for a look-see! We are excited to bring this aspect of the past to life.

Tickets are £5 per adult, under 21’s get free access.

This is a Frost's postcard from the early 1900s, the black and white copy is the original, the colour one has been "modernised" by sticking a picture of a car in the middle of West Street!

Also, look at the two Bank buildings on the right. Around this time both buildings had the front doors moved from the right to the left where they are now. Why?!

The role includes managing our invoicing, payments and payroll in compliance with our policies and procedures and relevant charity accounting standards. This exhibition runs until 10th October so pop in to discover how the people of Bridport stepped forward in times of crisis, taking up arms to defend the town, county and country over the last 230 years.
