Fight fast fashion in our final workshop for this exhibition with ! Tuesday, Mar 31 from 1:30-3:30pm

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the basics of visible mending — patching and darning damaged clothes and knitwear in a way that celebrates the repair rather than hides it.

No experience is needed. Just bring something that needs a little love, and we'll guide you through the techniques to give it a new lease of life.

Book your free space via the link in our bio!

✨Workshop Alert✨ pt II

Create a Future Fossil with Textiles Artist in Residence ! Monday, March 30th from 2-4pm

Beginning with the idea of discarded textiles drifting into oceans and becoming entangled in ‘ghost nets’, this session invites you to imagine how today’s waste might one day become the fossils of the future. Using reclaimed and waste materials, you’ll create a small speculative artwork that reflects on sustainability, care and the afterlife of the things we throw away.

All materials are provided, and you’re welcome to keep your work.

Spaces are free and going fast - link in bio to book!

✨Workshop Alert✨

Join us for an afternoon led by book artist and zine collection holder to make your very own mini artist's book!

Enjoy the act of making in a relaxed, creative space whilst we use card, collage, simple print and stitched elements to create a series of loose pages that will be bound into an artist's book.

Materials will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own papers, ribbons, threads and fabrics to incorporate.

Limited space available - link in bio for more information and to book your free spot!

Please jopin us for the opening event of "What Is This Space For?" on Tuesday 24th March 5-8pm.

This is an exhibition about art, craft and community exploring the potential of a gallery as a creative space when it is opened up to participation.

What Is This Space For? transforms the Gatehouse into a community living room – a welcoming, participatory space for making, gathering and belonging. Rather than presenting a conventional exhibition where visitors are passive viewers, this project invites you to spend time, take part and help shape the space as it unfolds.
