Our in-gallery exhibition 'David Yarrow: The Collection' is on display for another 10 days. This has been a fantastic opportunity to showcase a mix of works from David, including new headlining works and a few older classic favourites...

We always say David's works have to be seen at scale to be fully appreciated, and we have had many visitors who have wanted to experience these pieces up close and in person.

Seen here, being transported by our art director Bob and being unwrapped by our art advisors Monica and Phoebe, is 'The Lion'. This was the first to arrive for the exhibition, and its combination of dramatic impact, visual storytelling and tactile details create a sense of intimacy and grandeur; setting the tone for a wider exhibition that has been garnering attention since we launched in mid-September.

The Watson Gallery is proud to exhibit Hue Folk’s Argy-Bargy. A book cover inspired by the Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir using his tartan as the backdrop for the title inspired by his infamously irreverent personality.

Close ups of the mixed media piece showcase the vibrant yellow and blue of the tartan. Doddie’s tartan features four distinct colours which were chosen to represent key teams and milestones in Weir’s career.

We’re delighted to present four limited edition bronze sculptures by acclaimed British sculptor Michael James Talbot at our Edinburgh gallery.

Discover the elegant floor-standing works Amara and Ayanna, alongside the beautifully scaled maquettes Seraphina and Ophelia.

A graduate of the Royal Academy Schools and former Landseer Prize recipient, Talbot’s sculptures celebrate the beauty, grace and expressive power of the female form. Each piece begins in clay before being cast in bronze, then meticulously hand-finished and patinated to create remarkable depth, movement and detail.

Designed to be experienced from every angle, these striking works reveal new perspectives with every step.

New arrivals at Watson Gallery ✨

This Friday we unwrapped two stunning sculptures by celebrated British sculptor Michael Talbot.

Amara is a striking floor standing bronze sculpture, elegantly capturing the curves and movement of the female form through Talbot’s signature contemporary style and distinctive patina finish.

Seraphina Maquette brings a quieter sense of grace and sophistication. Emerging from a textured bronze backdrop, the sculpture plays beautifully with light and shadow, revealing the fluidity and poise that define Talbot’s work.

We re-hang the gallery every Friday, giving collectors and passersby the opportunity to discover new contemporary works before they are gone.
