The Burrell Collection, set in the heart of Pollok Country Park, is an award-winning building and home to a unique collection in a beautiful woodland setting. The Collection ranges from work by major artists including Rodin, Degas and Cézanne, to important examples of late medieval art, Chinese and Islamic art, Ancient Civilizations and more. Newly reopened, The Burrell will also host temporary exhibitions and run an extensive programme of events and activities for both adults and families with children. Open Monday-Thursday, Saturday 10am-5pm, Friday and Sunday 11am-5pm. This profile is monitored regularly and we will answer enquiries within 24 hours, if you would like a more immediate response please call our central switchboard during office hours on 0141 287 4350. Step into the past with Battle At The Burrell - The Arc Of War. Experience a Shakespeare-meets-Pro-Wrestling mash up that will see Joan of Arc face off against the arrogant Dauphin of France over who will lead their defence against the English.

PLUS...medieval crafts, live music, talks and tours, a live falconry display and so much more!

Please join us on Friday 16th October at 10am for an early opening for our quiet hour! 🏺
We welcome children and adults with autism, additional needs, neurodivergence and sensory needs at the Burrell Collection.
To accommodate members of the public who can find a museum visit overwhelming and prefer a calmer environment, the Burrell Collection are hosting a series of quiet and relaxed hour-long sessions.
These sessions are essentially for, but not limited to, people with autism, additional needs, neurodivergence or sensory needs who may prefer a more relaxed experience. As well as their families, friends, and carers.
You will find sensory kits available at the reception for free and a quiet safe space available all day. Where possible, loud sounds from audio-visual displays, interactives and films will be reduced or switched off during these hours.
You can also download a visual storyboard before your visit on our website.
