Get creative in the lead up to the festive season at Lyme Regis Museum with a lino printing workshop led by artist Alison Bowskill.

No experience is needed - Alison will guide you step by step through the process of designing, cutting, and printing your very own lino block. Bring along your own ideas or choose from images provided for inspiration!

This week, our Engagement and Learning Officer, Kieran Satchell, took to the stage to present his current research at this year's Marine Reptile Conference at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

Kieran's talk was titled: 'First evidence of intestinal soft tissue preservation in an Early Jurassic Ichthyosaur from Black Ven, England' a fascinating piece of research with direct connections to the Jurassic Coast on our doorstep here in Lyme Regis.

Join geographer, geologist and Lyme Regis Museum Trustee Jim Thomas for an illustrated talk exploring the fascinating story of The Cobb over the last 100 years.

Following on from his hugely popular Part 1 talk earlier this year, Jim will explore how The Cobb has evolved, including its structure, activities and people, as well as its use, management and changing features. He’ll also look at ideas and proposals for its future.
