⭐️ Your chance to own a limited edition copy of Shared Lines by Stevie Davies!

🌿The original piece was commissioned in Summer 2026 as part of the Humanity, Nature & Creativity project, supported by a National Lottery Project Grant awarded to Creative Melbourne by Arts Council England. It was featured in the Secret Sculpture Garden at Melbourne Hall.

🖌️ Inspired by 20th century modernist sculptor and artist Ronald Pope, the design celebrates community and connection.

The metalwork was cut by Melbourne-based Acres Creative Engineering Solutions, who have made a limited run of the maquette for Shared Lines in mild steel to commemorate the 21st anniversary of Melbourne Festival.

✨ Today we’re taking a trip back down Memory Lane, reflecting on a few of the successes our members have had during their time with us!

🎨 Spaces to Create is an artist development and mentoring programme designed to support emerging artists or those wanting to make a pivot in their career.

💭 We know how challenging it can be to find your feet in the creative industries. With guidance from industry professionals, we will help you turn your goals into a reality.

⭐️ What you’ll receive:
* Hot-desking space in Creative Melbourne Gallery during the 10-month programme
* 1-2-1 mentoring
* Monthly group sessions
* Talks, networking events & workshops
* Support with funding applications and other opportunities
* Opportunities within Creative Melbourne ventures: gallery volunteering, exhibitions, fairs and festivals, etc.

🌈 This opportunity is not solely for visual artists: you could be a writer, digital creative, photographer, game designer or producer! We are open to creative people who can utilise the hot-desking space and benefit from supported development.

🧵 You may recognise Suzy’s work from Melbourne Festival — she made her debut with us this year! Suzy combines her passion for textiles with her love of the natural world in her work, reminding viewers of the incredible beauty found on our doorsteps.

🪶 Suzy’s craft uses embroidery and print in a slow hand-crafted process that aims to capture both character and movement.
