What puts the "great" in Great Creative Workshops?

✨ Low Pressure: No right answers, no strict timelines, no embarrassment. The goal is enjoyment, not perfection. Instructions are given in stages so nobody feels overwhelmed. And there are guidelines, not rules.

✨ Neurodivergent Inclusive: People with ADHD, autism and sensory sensitivities are welcome. Short bursts of instruction, flexible pacing, no forced socialising and acceptance of all ways of working. Gloves & aprons provided if people feel more comfortable with them. Being with people feels easy with something else to focus on, never forced.

✨ Genuine Warmth: Homemade cake is a signature detail - it's not a gimmick; it's because attendees are guests, not customers, and it reliably breaks the ice without anyone having to try. GCW are an experience, not simply a workshop.

✨ Hands & Mind: Working with your hands is quietly therapeutic. GCW highlights the benefits of making; mindfulness, calm, a sense of completion. The fun comes first. It is a space for people to be creative when they thought they had long forgotten how to.

✨ Real Accessibility: Crafts are chosen so they can be replicated at home using supplies most people already own or can find cheaply. No expensive kits, no specialist tools. No adding to the piles of unused craft supplies. Just making. and maybe sparking ideas.

✨ Generalist Range: Our workshops cover many craft disciplines. This keeps workshops fresh, widens the appeal, and means there is no skill gap. Our workshops can be done by EVERYONE.

Workshops are 90 mins long because that's how long our brains can comfortably focus on one thing.

In summary - EVERYTHING we do at Great Creative Workshops is intentional. And the intention is to give everyone who walks through the door an experience - a warm welcome and a feeling of achievement. Low effort with maximum impact.

We would like to say a big thank you to reverend David Warner for allowing us to use St Nicholas church in North Walsham for our art and crafts exhibition. Also, thank you to the ladies and gentlemen who volunteered their time to provide refreshments for all the days of the exhibition and to the town council for providing the tables for this event. Our thanks also goes out to Limehouse Art Gallery in Stalham for their time and collaboration with us and also to our fantastic volunteers who stewarded the event and talented artists, crafts people, and makers who exhibitited Lastly, a huge, massive thank you to all of the community of North Walsham and the surrounding areas who supported this event! Ourseleves and our collective can not express enough how absolutely blow away we are with all your support! Let's put North Walsham back on the map! this is not just an area to drive through on your way to the coast it is an area steeped in history with beautiful walks, lovely markets, a great range of eating establishments, workshops and unique shops.

Our amazing art and crafts exhibition in collaboration with Limehouse Art Stalham is also open today from 10-4 with quality art and crafts at very reasonable prices (there is event a motorbike, and a tutu!) Where else would you find these under one roof! and a beautiful one at that at St Nicholas Church. Refreshments are also available in the church for each day of the exhibition. Don't forget the art trail too!
