🎉 Happy 150th Birthday, Sir William Stanier!

in 1876, one of Britain’s most influential railway engineers was born. Sir William Stanier became Chief Mechanical Engineer of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway in 1932, where he led the design of some of the most iconic locomotives in railway history.

Among his greatest achievements are two stars of our collection – Duchess of Hamilton, and Black Five No.5000 🌟
