Thirty years ago, the final foundations of Ravenscraig’s steelmaking legacy disappeared from the skyline.

Now, a new exhibition at North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre looks back at Ravenscraig 30 years on, exploring the people, memories and communities shaped by one of Scotland’s most significant industrial sites.

A powerful reflection on memory, identity, resilience and community, three decades after the cooling towers fell.

Ending the Midlands explore with themes of sand, gravel and water the former Lea Marston purification lakes, Warwickshire, created from extraction, engineered in the 70s to filter the polluted River Tame that flows through Birmingham now being transformed to a wetland environment.
