Things are happening at St Helen's. The archive team spent 3 days listing, packing & removing the memorabilia from the first floor so the builders can begin improvements in the clubhouse - But don't worry, everything will be back bigger and better still. A very big THANK YOU to Simon and Joe for a sterling effort against the clock. Check it out in October when we'll have loads more displays for you to enjoy. Renovations have started! Of course, the archive team have been exceptionally busy. As renovations progress, the nearly century-old pavilion - Swansea RFC's club house is still turning up long-lost artefacts... like this recently uncovered rare painting of the third Wales v England match to have been held at the world famous St Helen's ground! Big games return to St Helen's in 2026-27 - Be a part of it and get your season ticket early! Don't be disappointed, be part of St Helen's history when the Whites and the Ospreys return to St Helen's, the world-famous ground by the sea! October will see the biggest crowd since *checks notes* May 31st 2023, when Swansea took on the Barbarians, when Alun Wyn Jones played for both sides!

A quick peek at the jerseys that Joe is presenting at Tonna RFC. St Helen's Archive received these jerseys from Northern California last Summer. Thia Markson, daughter of the BATS side's trainer, Dick Markson, told us some of the stories. Joe has been researching further to unearth some incredible stories, and the incredible will to play rugby in the land of American Football and beyond! Good afternoon from the St Helen’s Archive Team, back from our recent travels in the community. The protection of the unequalled collection at St Helen’s Ground is our first duty. But we are
passionate about our second responsibility – to bring the memorabilia to the community and interact for the wider benefit and well-being it can bring about. But our most recent activity was a second visit to the Upton Bay Care home in Poole, Dorset. Led by
General Manager Mevin Sohorye, Upton Bay Care Home, is in the Upton suburb of Poole in Dorset. As expected, Upton Bay was well prepared – so well in fact that their wonderful chef Alain had
prepared hand-made doughnuts and a special rugby-themed cake for everyone to enjoy. As with last year’s visit, we carefully selected memorabilia that would be of particular interest to the residents
and, with three of us in attendance this year, Dave Dow, Simon Phillips and Joe Mortimer. More can be read in the Swansea v Ebbw Vale match programme, available at Broadacre on Saturday afternoon! If you don't make it, keep your eyes peeled!
