We fondly remember Les as the original drummer in our band, Punishment of Luxury.
He had a unique way of drumming which is evident on that first recording of ‘Puppet Life’ which came out on Small Wonder Records.

A long overdue trip out to the Suffolk countryside to have a cuppa with Pete Stennett.

As well as a natter about Small Wonder, iPads and the genius of Hieronymus Bosch, I finally got a chance to give him this fantastic painting of Small Wonder’s Hoe St HQ.

It was painted by Johanna Wilbraham as part of her Walthamstow artworks collection (her painting of Manze’s Pie & Mash is brilliant).
Johanna very kindly donated the painting to Pete back in January but I’ve only had a chance to take it to him now.

It's time to get rid of the cash register we bought for the Small Wonder Records exhibition back in 2016. It weighs a ton and has been sat in my back room ever since.

It was an almost perfect match for the original till though, along with the original record player/speakers and all Andrea, Tony and Matthew's work recreating Small Wonder :-)
