Recently funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund for new project 'Young Town Planners', engaging 30 young disadvantaged people. We celebrate UK contemporary art on every day level, form its inception, to its execution and its exhibition. The Artists we source are the best of the new collectables; the skills we impart are solid and sustainable. The Artwork integrates into exhibitions with that of m
arginalized groups. So you'll find a painting, an artefact, ceramics, jewellery, textile art from emerging contemporary artists alongside work by someone who may have experienced homelessness or domestic abuse or a mental breakdown. The cycle of social exclusion is to break, but when we wield city centre exhibitions all over Europe and in Moscow, and when the work is as collectable as the art used to inspire it, and the sales o collectors bring in much needed income and participation leads to paid employment, then we know we're on to something. New Visuality uses contemporary art and the most innovative technology to raise aspirations, and consolidate CVs and employability, and never once do we lose sight of our most basic building block: that the art generated in our projects, whether its traditional, digital, or 3D prototypes, has to be uniquely fabulous and desirable. "We are keen to unleash the sharpest art graduates from UK's universities here in Moscow. There are exhibition spaces we could use, Russian curators who would ump at the chance to get involved and a growing number of collectors who are keen to see what UK artists have to offer"
Crichton Brauer, Managing Director of Globus International
"There is a lot of scope for UK artists through New Visuality to exhibit in public spaces and even in our guided walks through our 1000 ancient 'caves' here in San Giorgio Lucano. We would be very grateful to New Visuality to introduce to us their selected artists and the groups with whom they work so we can celebrate them in our annual New Visuality project"
Franco Cirigliano, Mayor of San Giorgio Lucano. " After a year of planning and negotiations, Stage Live are set to organise 3 highly publicised commercial art fairs in 3 major Chinese cities, Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai, all curated by New Visuality. We're making astonishing progress over here in China, and the direction New Visuality is going in is ideal for what we've got in mind for running a Chinese based biennale. There is a lot of interest for this kind of stamp of approval from a UK art project, a lot of Chinese collectors want to see the top slice of UK contemporary art.
