Congratulations to all, on the opening of HANDS ON! A great exhibition from graduates and their students, in Professional Masters in Education (art & design) final degree show 2026.

Hands On highlights the importance of tactile art and media in the secondary school classroom. It investigates how teaching and learning should foster originality and creative integrity, at a time when arguably, emerging technologies threaten to undermine both.

Ecologies Art Lab Exhibition | Land + Collaboration

MTU Gallery at 46 Grand Parade, Cork City

The Ecologies Art Lab (E.A.L.) will launch its new Learning Community with Land + Collaboration, an exhibition taking place at the MTU Gallery, Grand Parade, Cork, from April 14–22, 2026.



Bringing together national and international artists and researchers, the exhibition foregrounds artistic research as a collaborative and ecological practice, exploring the relationships between land, materials, and collective inquiry.

The Ecologies Art Lab Learning Community is composed of CPAM Faculty members Collette Nolan, Catherine Hehir, Conall Cary, Marilyn Lennon, Fiona Kelly, Colette Lewis, and Helle Helsner.

Just opened at the gallery is Cork Craft Month , here is a few close-up pics of some of the exhibiting artists work well worth calling in to see.

An exhibition that celebrates the work of graduating makers and embraces them as part of the community of Irish craft and design. Featuring selected works from graduating makers from MTU Crawford College of Art and Design, Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa (Furniture Design), St. John’s Central College (Jewellery Making), West Cork Campus Skibbereen subsidiary of the Cork College of Commerce, and Kinsale College.

Gallery open again Tuesday 11am-4pm, and exhibition runs until Friday 22 August 11am-4pm Mon-Fri. All welcome!
